Arsenal plays Crystal Palace at Emirates Stadium, featuring Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Kolscielny, Monreal, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Ozil, Podolski and Giroud.
On the bench are Fabianski, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Rosicky, Zelalem, Gnabry and Bendtner.
Podolski finally starts again for Arsenal!! Just that I wonder why Monreal starts instead of Gibbs, not that Gibbs is unfit to play, but I believe Wenger always has the best thought for the team. A certain degree of squad rotation is always good, so now everyone can play. (Tony Fernandes is with his AirAsia and QPR in the League Championship shouting "Now everyone can fly")
I forget when was the last time I ever watched Arsenal's home game at my own sweet home, and watching it on a Chinese New Year day is definitely an enjoyment for me with so many food and drinks, and not mentioning the soothingness of lying my whole body down on the comfortable sofa.
The spotlight today is no longer given to Mesut Ozil!! The Gunners secured a 2-0 win with Oxlade-Chamberlain scoring the opener and added his second to his magnificent performance tonight. Crystal Palace can't seem to deal with the Ox at all.
He has returned with some style!! Yet another successful player transformation by Arsene Wenger, Oxlade-Chamberlain appeared to play as a defensive midfielder in this game, not the usual winger. The camera captured Wilshere on the broadcast, and the same question is being asked to Arsene Wenger : "Ramsey, Wilshere or Chamberlain in the next starting?". It has been a while since Wenger has this sort of sweet annoyance.
Nevertheless, another win, another clean sheet, top of the league. Come on You Gunners!!
